I chose this song because it’s one of my favorites and it’s such a powerful reminder that we were never meant to get through life without God. In a world that pushes pride and self-dependence, this song points back to the truth that every step we take is only by His grace, mercy, and strength.

This is a song I wrote in a time of serious struggle for me and my family, crying out to God for help, and for His presence to carry us through. I pray this song blesses you, and encourages you to draw close to Him.

What an amazing blessing it is... that I'm no longer chained to addiction, mental illness, or feeling alone. Praise God that my children won't feel the pain I did growing up. I have a future and it's worth everything I went through to get where I am. Jesus can change your life too! 🫶

This moment was during a Sunday service. Honestly, I can't remember all that happened because I kind of blacked out, but these songs ministered to me when I was in a low place, and I had to declare that calling Jesus brings victory every time.

No matter where you are and no matter what you are going through, God has a plan for you. God has always had a plan for your life, you just need to surrender to him and listen. You can't do it alone, you need to meet him where he is. The song says it all.
