Hey Everyone! I chose to submit a song that I wrote called “Great.” This song is about acknowledging that God is great no matter what our circumstances are and that He will give us faith to get through any season of life. We serve a GREAT and All Mighty God.

I chose this song because it has been a constant reminder that I can find healing in God’s hands. He restores the broken hearted and never lets us go no matter what we are going through. He is there waiting to hold us if we only rest and trust in Him.

You Came (You Died, Now You're Alive) by Heather M Erickson. Wrote this song on Good Friday and had it recorded, videoed within a few hours. I know it was the Lord who put the chorus lyrics and melody in my mind as I managed to play the perfect 4 chord progression on the piano. Thankful for Him!

I’ve been afraid of a lot of things in 34 years. But walking in God’s presence eliminates fear altogether. Salvation in Christ alleviated 3 decades of fear. Something only achievable by our God. This song and its message sums up God’s work in my life.

At the end of ths day it all come back to what truly matters - and why I am so passionate about Worship - Jesus Christ. He is truly is worthy of receiving all that I have to bring to the table. This song is one of the few that creates a moment of intimacy between myself and the Father.

This song was a song I wrote and crafted about my being in worship ministry at my particular church. I had been praying about what my next steps were and thinking about what my options were, but I felt that I was called to be planted where I was and not thinking the grass is always greener...

I chose this song because it is about remembering that because God is faithful, His children need not to fear, for He is always near, no matter what situation they may be in.

This song is so true and powerful! To think that Jesus lived His life and died on a cross for somebody like me is truly amazing to think about! I hope this song encourages you and reminds you of the love that our Savior, Jesus Christ, has for you and for me!

It’s about standing in gratitude and remembrance of God. I wrote this while I was depressed I let the lies of the enemy fill my head. God reminded me of Psalms 77 how Asaph’s soul refused to be comforted. But then he started remembering all the things that God had done in his life and was comforted.
