I chose this song because it has a very special meaning to me. No matter what you are going through in life God's grace is always there and it is surely amazing. When you learn to let go and let God take control of your life, (easier said than done sometimes) He really never fails you.

"Higher" by Amiah

I chose this song because this was answered prayer. There was a time in my life where I questioned God and one night, as I was praying He gave me the word: Higher and immediately sat at my keyboard and this was the song He gave me. As long as I living, I will continue to tell the world to go higher.

I wrote this song a few years ago. I've worked with at-risk youth for years and am now a teacher. Many of these students have been through so much heartache. I want to be the light and share hope to these kids and everyone I encounter.
