This powerful song is special to me for many reasons. It reminds us of His sacrifice and the comfort we can find in Jesus. He is merciful and full of forgiveness and grace. It is also my 86-year-old Grandpa’s favorite song, so I wanted to sing it for him! He drove 100+ miles to see me sing it!

I decided to choose this song because it describes a time in my life when I was going through rejection and I felt that I didn't matter to anyone but one day God told me that He saw me and right there my life changed.

This worship song is centered on redemption and grace through Jesus’ sacrifice. I personally enjoy this song as it reflects the transformation of moving from brokenness and sin into forgiveness and new life. While performing, I focus on the lyrics of the cleansing made possible by Christ’s blood.

His light guides me through the journey of faith to His fire—calling, mantle, and my identity as His bride. I pass the bonfire once dead but now alive. Through wilderness, trials, and crushing, He leads me to His veil and oil, anointing my head for a greater assignment. Never let your fire burn dim.
