I wrote this to thank God for sending us His Divine Love through our Lord Jesus. As I was writing this song, I lost my mom and two brothers within a year. “Through grief and loss, I remember the cross.” I consider this song a prayer and hope it will bring comfort and blessings to all who hear it.

I chose “Woke Up This Morning” because it reflects Isaiah 26:3a which says that "God keeps in perfect peace those whose minds are stayed on Him." Every lyric is a reminder for us to wake up and center our hearts on Him. I hope to encourage others to start every morning with God!

I choose this song for it reminds me always of the unconditional love of God, for truly I don't deserve to be save because of my transgressions but He gave His Son's (Jesus Christ) life for me. Even in the midst of storms He is faith and will always there, for if I abide in Him, He will abide in me.
