Whenever things fell apart and I felt lost, I'd play this song. It reminded me that no matter how dark things get, God is always near, that I’m never fighting my battles alone. Singing this cover was such a special experience for me, I pray it reaches others the same way it has for me.

This is my live performance. I wrote this song during one of the hardest seasons of my life while going through my divorce. I felt alone and unsupported, but God never left me. He gave me these songs in the middle of the pain. No matter what you face, worship Him anyway—your praise is a weapon.

The beginning of this year started out as a year of conviction for me. Lately, I have been finding out who I am. My new identity in Christ has led me to choose this song. God is always with me and He will continue to lead me with the Holy Spirit. So, I now have "Fire In My Bones". God bless.

I chose this song because I believe it is a great representation of the mentality we should live by. If everyone looked at themselves the way God sees them, our world would be a much more positive place. I try and see the beauty in all my friends and family, like God sees my beauty through my flaws.
