I decided to put my own twist on “To Build A Home” by The Cinematic Orchestra. I truly allowed God to use me to send this message as a reminder that He is preparing a home for us. We must prepare ourselves for His coming because He is who He says He is — He is God.

I chose this song because it reminds me of my best friend (who was brutally murdered). A few days before his murder, he told me he was going back to church and devote his life to the Lord but he never made it. Tomorrow is not promised. Choose the Lord now.

I picked a different type of song by one of my favorite artists, Allison Eide. This song speaks to me because the enemy is a liar and the truth is Jesus. The enemy wants us to believe the lies but we need to see the identity that we are in Christ. Hope you enjoy it as well.

For years I searched for love and identity in the world, not fully understanding the depth of Jesus’ love for me. Even in my brokenness and sin, I felt set apart—because His goodness never stopped “running after me.” The goodness of God is why I sing, worship, and will always give Him all my praise!

This powerful song shows us the attitude we should have as christians, knowing that there is One that will never fail. That’s why we trust in God.
