I chose this song because it's about the best day of anyone's life! The day we decide to bend our knee and submit to the Lord God Almighty! I also chose it for the truth that it speaks. I am who I am, because the I Am tells me who I am. In times of confusion we must look to the truth!

I am kicking things off with a fun, upbeat song from leading worship at a youth camp. This first stage of the contest feels like a first date-- we are just meeting each other, so let's not get *too* serious yet. On a personal note, The River reminds me of being baptized by my grandpa when I was 8.

This song reminds me that no matter what I face in this life my God will never fail me. I can trust Him in every season, because He is always good.

I chose this song because its message means so much to me. Many of us have felt shame from our past, especially when we start seeking a relationship with God. You are not too broken or lost to be loved by God. Don’t hesitate to welcome him into your life because tomorrow is never promised.
