This song has deeply impacted me since I was a teenager. I have always felt like an outcast and a black sheep. Just lost in the world...unseen, unnoticed, unloved. But then I met Jesus and He changed my life forever.

I chose this song not only because it’s one of my favorite songs, but this song also speaks to my heart. Only when I met Jesus did I attain peace in knowing that God loves me and wants to have relationship with me. This song speaks about that.

The story of the 10 virgins in modern day, 5 waiting the lord with oil in their lamps and 5 with no oil, letting the world confused and distracted them.

This was my take on an r&b song that entails 2 people wanting to move to the next step in their relationship, but both have been hurt. But then realizing that the only way to move forward is with God.

I was challenged one day by someone asking, “if your name were to be brought up between anyone right now, what would be the first thing they think of?” I hope it’s not anger, drama, or anything negative. But I pray my legacy will be Christ in me.

I chose this song because, for one, I love it, and because it reminds me how thankful I am that I know God, and He is always with me through my trials with chronic illness.

This song is for my fellow believers. I wanted to remind everyone that we don't just worship on Sunday mornings but we walk this life of a believer out daily.

I chose this song because it encouraged my family through a difficult time in our Christian journey, after losing our daughter this song brought comfort and hope by encouraging us that even in the dark days that we go through, God is near and He will be with us just through life.
