I chose this song because it's the first song I sang in front of people after experiencing a miscarriage. I was depressed and I felt unworthy of love. It seemed like God was so far away. I felt abandoned. I didn't want to go to church, and I definitely didn't want to sing anymore. But I did.

This song was written by School of Worship friends and me a few years ago. Later during Covid I was singing it a lot, and it deeply ministered to me and encouraged me as I was going through challenging times in my life. So I hope and pray it blesses you all and encourages your souls! Thank you!

This song is about a journey of faith. From being strong in faith, to trying to do it on your own, and realizing that what was missing in your life was there the whole time, you just needed to allow God back in. It is thanking God for being there the whole time and finding my way back to Him.

"Father Help Me" by Howard Gripp

Original - While this will hopefully be a powerful song for others as they suffer trials in life, it is a lament to God about the heavy trials I have faced in the past few months. I still trust God through pain and heartache and know He will help me through anything. I surrender everything to Him.
