ELLE was a Jesus-loving theater kid. When she heard of ‘Hamilton’ she began rewriting the songs about the life of Jesus per the Bible. Theses are ELLE’s lyrics to the music of ‘My Shot’ originally by Lin-Manuel Miranda. She calls it ‘My God, from the perspective of Jesus and other Biblical figures.

Jason has lived the goodness of God. He wants to share the goodness with others.

I chose this song because it is not only a reflection of God's Heart toward us, it's also an example of how we should treat others. It's so easy to give up on people when things are messy and difficult, but love is not afraid to get in the trenches with people and fight for them. Love ALWAYS Wins!

This song reminds us that the prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working, found in James 5:16. I’m singing this song to encourage our brothers and sisters in Christ to pray to our Heavenly Father because there’s POWER in PRAYER!

Written in my final year of college, “Pieces” reflects the darkness, anxiety, and hurt many young adults face; feeling shattered and trying to pick up the pieces alone, until they realize only the Father can restore them. A prodigal son story of brokenness and homecoming.
