I wrote this song recently as a surrender of control to Jesus. I was struggling to understand some of the things happening in my life and around me, and as I prayed, I felt peace and a reminder that it’s not in my control. He is all I need: my understanding, my peace, my joy, all of it!

This song is a reminder of how important it is to have personal time with God and to seek His presence above everything else. It’s a message that speaks deeply to me, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to share my heart through this performance. Hope it blesses you! 🙏🏾

ELLE was a Jesus-loving theater kid. When she heard of ‘Hamilton’ she began rewriting the songs about the life of Jesus per the Bible. Theses are ELLE’s lyrics to the music of ‘My Shot’ originally by Lin-Manuel Miranda. She calls it ‘My God, from the perspective of Jesus and other Biblical figures.

Jason has lived the goodness of God. He wants to share the goodness with others.

I chose this song because it is not only a reflection of God's Heart toward us, it's also an example of how we should treat others. It's so easy to give up on people when things are messy and difficult, but love is not afraid to get in the trenches with people and fight for them. Love ALWAYS Wins!

Gratitude changes everything. Even in the middle of life’s highs and lows, I choose to praise, trust, and remember that every blessing, every lesson, and every breath is a gift from God.
