I chose this song, because it encompasses Jesus' name which is beautiful, wonderful, and powerful. This song also points out Jesus being there at the beginning and rising from the dead. Jesus is the reason why I sing and the reason I have the opportunity to worship through song and my life.

I chose this song because the mercy of God is why I’m still here today and able to come before the throne of the All Mighty Creator with confidence. His mercy is shown perfectly in the new covenant, by the Creator becoming one of us, living perfectly yet still suffering the consequence of sin for us.

I wrote this song for the person who struggles to believe that there is a God that sees their pain. God wants to be part of our lives, intimately, and Deuteronomy 31:8 says, "The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you." Hold on, my friend; hold on.
