"Daystar" by Alejandro Brooks

When I gave my heart to God a few years ago this song was such an encouragement to me an still is till this day. I especially love the lyrics that say “Only you can take what’s wrong in me and make it right.” To God be all the Glory and I thank Him so much for being the merciful God that He is.

"Son Worshiper" by Anna Rose

This original song means a lot to me! It’s worshipful, makes you want to get on your feet and dance for the Lord, and it just reminds you of how fun and joyful being a Christian really is!

I chose "Not Just Stories" because I discovered this song while I was going through a rough time in my academic career, as a first-year college student. After listening to this song in the middle of a school night, I had the courage to keep moving forward and to trust God with the situation.

"I Don't Wanna Rush Your Timing" by Amber Barnes

I wrote this song about the messiness of singleness as a Christian. I am currently struggling within this single season, but through my grasping the Lord has met me there through each layer, every single time.
This season is helping me trust Jesus more deeply, because only He knows what will happen.

"Still" by Divya Chandy

A couple years ago I drifted away from God because I was too ashamed to face Him after I sinned. I tried doing things on my own. During that time my dad sent me this song. God was reminding me to let Him fight my battles, and surrender everything to Him. This song has stuck with me ever since.

"Everything and Nothing Less" by Rock Shelton

This song is reminiscent of the hymn, "I Surrender All," but brings more contemporary stylings to express this prayer of wholehearted surrender to God. I sang lead as we presented it to the congregation, but my hope & prayer is that you sense God's Spirit taking the lead, drawing you nearer to Him.
