We wrote this song because we truly believe every child deserves a future. Our mom was battling cancer while pregnant with David, the younger brother in HIS, and drs said neither would survive a full term pregnancy. She chose life. She passed 5 years later but hers and God's legacy lives on in us!

In all the storms, one must continue to reflect on the magnitude of His presence. This song reflects on His omnipresence and how we are not asking for much of it, just a moment, and it's enough to behold and embrace. This song reflects our stories and our testimonies. May God bless you all!

We were never promised a perfect life, a life free from shame, guilt, loneliness or even pain. But we have HOPE because even in the darkest times, we are not alone. He erases our shame. He makes us new. God sent His Son Jesus to “address the mess” that we are. Jesus IS our Light Breaking Through!

Last Thanksgiving, one of my dearest family members—an outspoken atheist—challenged my faith, questioning why I believe in heaven and devote so much of my life to an abstract reality. I simply smiled and said, “I find joy in dreaming my life away.” That night, I poured my heart into this song.
