Although I am young, I have gone through patches where trusting God is difficult, when it feels like he’s not listening. The lyrics remind me to trust God's plan and have faith that He will never fail you. Although I am young, God has always gotten me out of darkness, and He will do it again.

I wrote this song, not long after coming back to Christ. I had actively avoided Him, ran from Him. I chose this song because it describes the battle in my heart at the time. On one hand there was the old me, and on the other, Jesus. I believe this song will help the prodigals like me.

This song means a lot to me with this song. I’m reminded that because he lived no matter what happens in life, I can keep going. God is always by my side. He never left me. No forsaken me.

When I found out in 2017 that the Lord's prayer was also a song, I felt like I had missed something growing up because I love music!! Due to many legends singing this song, and it being a prayer that so many of us live by, makes it my favorite song to sing!

I chose the song gratitude by Brandon lake as this song helped me through some really dark times.

Posted this on my fb a couple days ago…Just got this guitar - it sang so nice on the drop D, I just felt like playing a little of this song “The Well” that I wrote a few months ago. It has a little grit, but is so smooth as well. I love this song bc I can just be… it’s an expression of me. ❤️
