This is my original We Came To Praise You, it holds a very special place in my heart! I wrote this song after going through one of the scariest medical scares of my life. I couldn't eat and lost 90lbs in the span of almost 2 months, God brought me out of this and blessed me with this song.

I chose this song because it reminds of Matthew 6:33 and Proverbs 3:5-6 which reminds to focus on him I in spite of everything I am going through and that I can seek God first and place my total trust and focus on him.

Mother's Day was especially meaningful-celebrating the strong mothers in our life, my brother's b-day, and my dad's heavenly b-day. This song reminds me to find gratitude in the layers of who we are, the memories & emotions we hold onto, and the parts of ourselves we're still learning to understand.

I went through tough depressing times within the past few years of my life and God has shown me his glory & grace and how amazing it can be. God has shown me the path I’m supposed to be on and who I am again and no matter how dark or long the path seems that I know he will always be there for me.
