This is my all time favorite hymn.

It reminds me of the sacrifices our Lord and Savior made to save me, and it reminds me of my future in Heaven.

I know that I have a future in Heaven with the Lord and my family members gone before me, who also shared a love of this song.

This song is my personal testimony as it says in the song “you weren’t there the night He found me you didn’t feel how I felt when He wrapped His love around me," and that is my story the night I planned to take my life God stepped in and wrapped me in His love and saved me.

This powerful song is special to me for many reasons. It reminds us of His sacrifice and the comfort we can find in Jesus. He is merciful and full of forgiveness and grace. It is also my 86-year-old Grandpa’s favorite song, so I wanted to sing it for him! He drove 100+ miles to see me sing it!

The song “Your Wings” reminds me of the times I went through challenging situations and found refuge under God’s wings. In my darkest moments, I can rest, feel protected, and find safety in Him. He is my refuge.

There is nothing better than knowing that we have a Savior that would shed His blood for payment for our sins! That He would make that accrued for someone as unworthy as me. Someone who was a wretch and lost in sin with no hope! Thank you Jesus!

Originally the video was just gonna be the song itself, but I went ahead and explained that it was gonna be my audition video, so I could get opinions on if I should do it or not, but my heart spoke to me and told me that this was the song so this is what I chose to sing.
