My daughter and I chose to sing Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen* for the singing contest because it holds a special meaning for both of us. We’ve always been drawn to the richness of biblical stories—their emotion, symbolism, and timeless lessons—and this song weaves those themes into beautiful music.

As a musician who started leading worship in church at a young age, I've often felt that I had to be perfect in everything...or else it wasn't good enough for God. This song is my reminder to remember the whole point of worship which is to give glory to God. I hope ya'll enjoy!

I choose to sing “I Trust in God” because it reflects where I am right now. Life doesn’t always go the way I expect, and there are moments when I don’t have all the answers, but I’ve learned that I don’t have to. Singing this song reminds me to let go of my worries and place them in God’s hands.

Everytime I listen to this song, I am filled with so much joy and hope! That's why I wanted to sing this song. It's easy to lose sight of the fact that earth is not our final and it's easy to get discouraged. But this song reminds us not to give up, because we who are saved by Jesus are almost home!

When I was deciding on what song to sing none of the songs I was choosing seemed to be the right one. A memory came to my mind of me singing this song with the worship team at my church singing it in the same way (accapella ) I felt the Lord brought that memory to me and that it was the right song.

This has been my go to worship song. When I was going through a tough time this song got me through. I’m grateful for Jesus and all he has done for me.

This is an original song I wrote a few years back. I was broken and turned my back on God. I Honestly was too afraid to face him. However, one night I just couldn’t take it anymore and finally decided to talk to him. In that one instance, he embraced me and poured out these words back to me.

I chose this song because I love the meaning behind it and the testimony that Anne Wilson describes through her lyrics and how much it relates to my personal experience in my faith I am always trying to share Jesus with everyone around me.

I chose “Lo Harás Otra Vez” because it reflects my journey as a missionary’s son who grew up across nations. Now living my own faith, I declare that the same God who sustained my parents will sustain me. His promises still stand—even when I don’t yet see them fulfilled.
