This song is one of the most recent ones I have discovered from a Collegiate Conference. As soon as I heard it, it lit a fire inside of me. I felt as if it encapsulated praise in the best way possible. In my life recently, I have a lot to thank The Lord for. This song helps me do that!

I wanted to highlight the joy of African Praise and Worship. It can reach all believers and give hope to those who do not believe.

During a camping trip last summer, in Oklahoma, I witnessed a little boy drown in the river. Jesus put this song in my heart thinking about the pain and suffering his family must have been going through. Even during the hardest trials we face in life, Jesus is there, standing in the fire with us.

In a low valley of grief and loss, I stepped back into worship after months away. As I sang “Surrounded,” God met me here reminding me of Psalm 20:7. This became my declaration: He is with me and fighting for me. I pray this builds your faith.

Jesus blood has washed you clean! Growing up, I sometimes struggled with overthinking and intrusive thoughts. The Lord has healed me and done so much in my heart and mind because I have accepted him as my Lord. I daily meditate on His blood, what He saved me from and truly want others to experience.

I love this song because to me it feels like such an intimate song to sing to our lord and really speaks to my past at how God can bring you so far if you just trust him with everything. To look back and see how much my life has changed with God in it is such a blessing to me.

This song reminds me that amidst the storms and struggles of life, we can take comfort in knowing that the God who sees us, knows us, and goes before us is always in control. I know this is a message that somebody needed to hear. I pray this brings peace and comfort through every season.

Divine Evidence is an original song I wrote after the LORD did a miracle in my life. The year before I wrote it, I was believing GOD for healing in different areas of my life. Looking back, I saw how HE made a way for me! Evidence is a testimony that GOD has made me the living proof of HIS goodness!

My daughter and I chose to sing Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen* for the singing contest because it holds a special meaning for both of us. We’ve always been drawn to the richness of biblical stories—their emotion, symbolism, and timeless lessons—and this song weaves those themes into beautiful music.
