I chose to submit me singing "It is Finished" by Passion because it is such a powerful reminder of the power of the cross for my life personally and for all of us for eternity. It is such a beautiful, simple song with such deep, powerful truth. 🙂

This song has always been one of my favorites. I found myself in a battle with cancer in 2023, and this was one of the songs I listened to daily while in chemotherapy. I was unsure in entering this competition, but sang it yesterday at church, and realized the deadline to enter matched up.

This song represents the need for our Lord Jesus Christ everyday. We can boldly come to Him daily and be filled with the power of His presence, mercy, and grace. He is faithful and just to forgive all sins but we must come. He is our righteousness, defense, and He is all we need everyday.
