I was going through a lot of hard transitions when I wrote this song. Then He showed me how he has always been there. For 26 years He's been good to me and others when we don't deserve it. Thank you God for being the New in the midst of the old.

This song is simply just a reminder of how I literally would not be here without the saving grace of God. I resonated with this song before I was saved. So it just shows how God was making a way for me to be a child of his even then.
