I wrote this song when I was about 17 and it still stands strong to my soul. I chose this song because people in our lives will come and go. Some will treat us well and some will leave a scar. However, JESUS will never leave us. Day or night. We’re never alone. He will keep us, comfort us and care

During a camping trip last summer, in Oklahoma, I witnessed a little boy drown in the river. Jesus put this song in my heart thinking about the pain and suffering his family must have been going through. Even during the hardest trials we face in life, Jesus is there, standing in the fire with us.

This song reminds me that amidst the storms and struggles of life, we can take comfort in knowing that the God who sees us, knows us, and goes before us is always in control. I know this is a message that somebody needed to hear. I pray this brings peace and comfort through every season.
