The song is a beautiful simplistic expression of how we wish for better and expect better through our good intentions but it’s Love, real Love, God who can restore/heal. If only we all strived for real love and learned how to express it to each other, then there will be real change.

I chose "Oceans" because despite it being played so many times it never loses it's first time impact on me. I first heard it in highschool during a not so good time. The song reminds me that God will continue to call us out and bring peace in any situation.
