My song "Heart of Surrender" is about having to trust God's perfect timing and way to reach my dream of being an artist and songwriter. It feels like a never-ending wilderness season, but I know a Promise Land is coming. I just have to have a Heart of surrender and trust God as He leads me there.

After not being able to choose a song for round 2 all week, this one came up on Spotify, while I was at work and I’m a sucker for Ballads. So much Power in a few words and a melody. Just a gentle reminder to me, that No matter where I go in life it’ll NEVER be enough For God to not want me.

I chose this song because the words say it all. In all things we need to "Call on Jesus" first so He can guide us in all we do. And honestly to fix this world He is our only hope. As well this song is very popular with the people throughout the country and many parts of the world. The style of the song is universal. It's played on Tejano stations, gospel stations as well as many contemporary stations. The song means the world to me because it was all the Lord that gave me music, melody, and lyrics all in twenty minutes.
