This was me 13 years ago come this January. On my way home from college, I was in a car accident where I broke my neck and sustained a spinal cord injury. This left to be paralyzed from the neck down. For the first few days I was in a medically induced coma and on a ventilator. When I finally came to and got off the vent, it was a challenge for me to eat out a whisper, let alone a normal voice. People had to strain to hear me and I had to take several breaths to finish a sentence. It’s been a long journey, but God is faithful! He took me from volleyball which I loved, to singing and worship for him which I love even more! I believe his resurrection power will one day heal me as well, but until that day I am so thankful he is giving me purpose, hope and a voice to share with others. God is so good! All the glory to Jesus!
