I started writing this song after losing my father in 2018, and I never made it past the first two lines.
I picked up where I left off last week, and it seems like it all just fell perfectly into this song. God is here. He sees me. Even if I can’t see what lies ahead, I am not asked to know the answers…I’m only asked to trust that He does.
The lyrics tell a little bit of my story after losing my father, and a little bit of my story now. I pray I am able to say, “Let it be done to me.” like Mary said when Angel Gabriel came to her and invited her into deeper communion with our God.
