Contestant's Christian Charity: Paris Church of the NazareneI wrote ‘The Color of Her Eyes’ after witnessing a mother kneeling at the altar praying for her children. Once she got up, I noticed the altar was covered in tears. I could feel her pain and agony, as I too am a mother and have felt and knelt at the altar for my children.
