Gerard Mora – “Consume”
Contestant's Christian Charity: St. Jerome & Prince of Peace Catholic ChurchI wrote this song in 2015 when I was in mass. This was one of the first times I felt God calling me to write about the Eucharist. As we partake in the consumption of Christ, He too is consuming our lives, and we become one body. This song is a prayer of invitation to God to allow me to partake in the Eucharist, and to let Him know He has a home in my body and spirit.
