I chose “I’ll Fly Away” because it’s familiar, joyful, and I can sing and play it on my fiddle. I’ve sung it at karaoke, folks seem to love it when I start flapping my arms and try “flying away” for real. I’ve even seen a man at church walking and flying around every time our praise band played it!

I chose this song because it reminds me of my best friend (who was brutally murdered). A few days before his murder, he told me he was going back to church and devote his life to the Lord but he never made it. Tomorrow is not promised. Choose the Lord now.

This video shows me performing at the 1st Annual Songwriters and Arts & Crafts Festival in Clanton, Alabama. I wrote this song while my dad was battling cancer, and I released it in 2022 following his passing. This song is very special to me, and I will always allow the Lord to Have His Way.

Growing up in church, like me, doesn’t guarantee knowing Jesus. One encounter with God changed everything. He revealed Himself to me and called me into intimacy with Him. From that moment, a deep and unshakable desire was born in me: to know Jesus more every day and in every way.

This song rose up in my heart while I was worshipping God. He is an awesome God worthy all our praise. I chose to submit this song because it reminds me of Gods faithfulness and goodness. He won the victory once and for all on the cross. We are so blessed and He deserves our worship.
