Song I can so resonate with. I’ve had to learn to surrender things to God and give up complete control. I’ve had to find my strength in Him; in my weakness He’s been strong, He has taken me out of the darkest moments of my life. I’m still a work in progress every day, but He is my light ❤️

I wrote this song following the conclusion of Round 2 of the 2025 competition. I was doing a mundane task that became a little extra difficult and then suddenly it worked out. I said to myself “I almost gave up”… then the lyrics followed “but I didn’t give in” - and the song was born!

There are no adequate words to describe the majesty of our King. He is awesome, righteous, and holy forever! As long as I have breath, I will sing for Him and only Him!

This song is a testimony to how great Jesus is! I sing this song whenever I feel sad, frustrated, all different types of emotions. "His Name Is Jesus" allows me to let go and reconnect with the Lord🤍

I chose this classic hymn because of the spiritual impact it has had in my life and the message it says to us as Christians as a part of the Body of Christ. How great our Creator is and how amazing it will be to see Him one day with shouts of acclamation!

This song is for the other artists out there. We should never give up on our dreams, no matter how many times we get knocked down. We shouldn’t quit on our dreams and goals, so here's a cover from a song written and sung by my all-time idol: "Don’t Quit" by Jordan Smith.

I chose this song because I love the bluesy take on this classic! As their rendition is a duet, I also harmonize with myself throughout the song. I recreated their music myself in GarageBand. I grew up singing the old version of this song in church and as it says - I’ve got the Holy Ghost!

His grace is never ending. Every morning His mercies are brand new! We can never fathom the depth of His love. I’m living proof of His life changing power. I’m here today because of grace. I sing because His grace is real to me!

I chose Firm Foundation because I believe that this song is a testimony. It exemplifies the power of the Lord. When everything around me is shaken, He is still there and is my Firm Foundation. He is my rock and my Savior. This song is my cry to the Lord.

I love this song cause every time I sing it, it assures and remind me, my hope and trust should never be on man, but always on God alone.

The story behind this song was about how my friends left me friendless for 6 years. I was alone everyday and bullied, and thinking there was no one there who understood me, and gets me, but there is. God knows me, He's given me a talent I should use to spread the word of the Gospel!

"Holy Forever" by Chris Tomlin is one of my favorite spiritual songs. It’s so inspiring as a Christian and reminds us to always keep God the Father at the top of the hierarchy, as we walk through this life. Accept His name and guidance as Highest in our lives, so that we can be Holy Forever with Him.

I chose "Goodness of God" by Cece Winans because this song truly speaks to my heart!
When my father committed suicide, I didn’t know what to do. I even almost took my own life, but Cece Winans brought me through so much with her music and now when I’m feeling down or sad, I play Goodness of God💕
