This is a song my father in law wrote together after a loss in the family. I hold it very close to my heart and it is the song I am most proud of to date. It is a deeply touching song about longing to have another moment with a loved one but knowing they are safe in the arms of our Lord.

Hey fam Adam here! I chose this song Crowns Down because this song has a message of just worshipping our creator and during the hard times of life like I’ve been through lately, God is the only person I can rely on and I hope this is an encouragement to you and your family!

This song by Brandon Lake means so much to me because of everything God has allowed me to go through, and yet I still have every reason to praise Him. It is a soul cry of what I feel when even though the struggles of this life get hard, I know I serve a God who is GREATER and worthy of every song!

This song is one of the very first songs I have written and released.

I wrote this song following the conclusion of Round 2 of the 2025 competition. I was doing a mundane task that became a little extra difficult and then suddenly it worked out. I said to myself “I almost gave up”… then the lyrics followed “but I didn’t give in” - and the song was born!
