Not by striving. Not by performance. But by Grace. I’m remembering that I cannot perfect a faith-filled life in my own strength. I will fall short. I will get tired. I will be weak. But Grace was never earned. So I’m falling back into His arms. And in my weakness, I’m letting Him lead. Here are the Scriptures I’ve been meditating on: 📖 “It is the glory of God to conceal a matter; to search out a matter is the glory of kings.” — Proverbs 25:2 📖 “In this world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” — John 16:33 📖 “For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to Him.” — 2 Chronicles 16:9 📖 “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.” — Ephesians 2:8–9 Grace. Faith. Surrender. He could’ve spoke to us about anything, how to create light, the invention of cars, but everything he said to us was so simple and it was intentional. He gave us just what would be necessary to build lifes firm foundations upon. He spoke to us like children. Sometimes we think that we have graduated from the simplicity of some of his teachings. It is not until we go through some hardships that we are humbled and reminded of his words. My prayer today is that God would help me to be like a child. Because without this, it is impossible for us to even enter into his kingdom.
