The Scales Fall is about the facade of the “man of God” in my life falling and realizing we are saved by grace, not works. Berean Holiness was instrumental in my “disentangling” so I am so happy to give back to them as my beneficiary!

Here’s my in-studio (raw vocals) recording of my most recent song “In the Middle”!
Like Joseph and his journey, I see myself “in the middle” of my own journey of God’s will being completed in my life.

I wrote this song following the conclusion of Round 2 of the 2025 competition. I was doing a mundane task that became a little extra difficult and then suddenly it worked out. I said to myself “I almost gave up”… then the lyrics followed “but I didn’t give in” - and the song was born!

I chose this song because I love the bluesy take on this classic! As their rendition is a duet, I also harmonize with myself throughout the song. I recreated their music myself in GarageBand. I grew up singing the old version of this song in church and as it says - I’ve got the Holy Ghost!

Here I sing and play guitar, drums and keyboard to Seph Schlueter's popular song, "Counting My Blessings." I chose this song to share as it fits my vocal range well and also highlights my ability to play different instruments.
