I chose "Alabaster Box" because it powerfully encapsulates the profound and deeply personal journeys that each of us take on the path to Christ. This song resonates with me on so many levels, as it beautifully illustrates the idea that our experiences, struggles, and transformations are unique.

The song “Heart of Stone” is originally about a wife’s unending love for her husband despite his numerous flaws. When I hear the song, I instantly think of God’s unending love for humanity despite our own shortcomings. There is a section of the song that discusses how the singer will have to leave her son behind and that makes me think of how God ultimately gave His only son for our sins.
